Clothing Warehouse to Open New Location

Last weekend, I went shopping and found my way to a lovely spot at the Clothing Warehouse's Warehouse in East Point, Ga. They were having their monthly sale straight from the boxes and bins the clothing were shipped in. Great finds for those who love thrift store bargains: western shirts, all kinds of denim wear, printed tees, polyester pants, polo shirts, colorful dresses from the 70's and 80's, a room full of cowboy boots, and even costumes. The prices here are at wholesales prices rather than at any of the other stores' locations. Anyway while I was there, I heard on good authority that this location would be open daily in about a month or so. It's really exciting to hear that one of my favorite shops in town is opening a new location in the metro area.

The first Clothing Warehouse opened in 1992 in Atlanta, in of all places - a warehouse. But soon because of the awesome inventory and cool marketing, the store grew into a chain of stores throughout the Southeast. Now The Clothing Warehouse franchises to even more locations like Savannah, Chapel Hill and Jacksonville. The flagship store is located in Atlanta in the heart of Little Five Points. The building is painted blood red and half of the store is made of full-length windows and vivid displays of the incredible stock. Inside, there's always some ultra-cool music playing for you while you go through the color coordinated clothing racks. And what about the staff? Friendly, laid back, unpretentious- I can lose myself in there for hours. This store also carries jewelry and other accessories, belts, hats, purses and those cowboy boots.
