Inside Man : Best Bank Robbery Movie Since Heat

Inside Man is the story of the perfect bank heist planned out with pristine precision by a masked bank robber (Clive Owen) and his crew. The only thing standing in their way is the street smart detective Frazier (Denzel Washington) who refuses to lose the cat and mouse game. As the game between the two unfolds a twist presents its self in the form of a power broker with her own agenda (Jodie Foster) who injects more hostility into the already volatile situation. Who will come out on top?

In a fast paced suspense thrill ride you will be rooting for the bad guys just as much as you do for the good guys. As the story unfolds you are given just enough of the secrets to keep you salivating for more. This very well written story keeps you wanting more, you can’t get enough and even when it’s over you will still want more. With clever bad guys you are almost forced to like, to the smart ass detective Frazier that you can’t help but love, all the characters are played perfectly.

This movies plot is so smart, you would almost believe that Russell Gewirtz had executed the robbery and not merely made it up. First time writer brings the ultimate bank heist to us with lots of twists and turns that keep you guessing. The best part is that it’s a fresh bank heist movie with an all new plot, not like most Hollywood movies today, which take the same cookie cutter story and beat it to death. Most of the ideas in this movie were innovative and I have never seen them before. Makes me happy to see any movie that isn’t formed from an old sitcom, comic book, or a sequel, the movie market is flooded with these and I am glad “Inside Man” has finally made it to the theaters.
