One day in the past few weeks, I did a search for grammatical software when I stumbled upon a site called English Grammar 101 in the list of searches. I read the description of the site and decided to check it out. I noticed on the front page of the Website there were two different types of this site one could use. One direction the website takes is for those who want to use the grammar area at home. The other direction was for school teachers.
The home user side of the site is for those who want to brush up on their grammar skills or for those who homeschool their children. I decided to take a look at the site through the home user side of the Website. Upon clicking the link to get started, I found the person, M.L. Van Horne, who design the site did so as a way to share their English grammar instructional material with others.
The English Grammar 101 Website has six different units to study on the English grammar. The unit on this online grammar course includes word and phrase patterns, clause patterns, verb tense and verbal patterns, verb forms and sentence patterns, punctuation patterns, and unit six is a supplement over troublesome words.
Each of the units will have between 30 and 50 lessons. Also within each of the units, there are reviews and tests to find out how you are doing with each of the lessons. Each of the lessons, at least the ones I did, were user interactive lesson plans.
The interactive lesson plans allow the user to complete different tasks throughout the unit's lessons. The person also can input their name and be graded at the end of each of the lessons to see how they are doing through each of the individual lesson plans. You will also be shown each of the items you missed during each of the lessons. You will also be shown the mistakes you made on each of the individual interactive lessons.
