StockScouter is designed to look for stocks with a strong earning profile, recent positive earnings for their investors and a powerful stock chart. More than 5000 stocks are rated on a bell-curve scale from one to ten with 10 being the best pick. Due to the bell curve used to rank, stocks with a rating between 4 and 7 are expected to perform in line with the market. Four main factors are considered when coming up with a rating. These factors include:

Fundamentals of a company, their earnings and growth history; Ownership, whether the company shares belong to executives and board members; Valuation of the stock in regards to its current expected earnings growth; and the technical factor which reviews whether a stock's price trend is negative or positive.
