Whether you have a day or a week, you'll find what you're looking for at Clear Creek. If you want to bring the family out for a day trip, pack the swimsuits, sunscreen, sand buckets, hiking shoes, a picnic and plenty of water and set out for the park. There are twenty-five miles of beautiful trails to explore. Choose one and enjoy stretching your legs after the drive out. Notice the mountain laurel and rhododendrons that smell so beautiful and keep your eye out for the wildlife as deer, bear, turkey and grouse call Clear Creek State Park home.
When you've finished hiking, mosey over to a shady pavilion and unpack that picnic. There are over three hundred picnic tables in the park with plenty of fireplaces and restrooms. You may reserve pavilions up to eleven months in advance, so they're great for birthdays and family reunions, too.
