In my opinion these are the top ten rides that you must ride while visiting Kennywood Park this summer. Kennywood Park was founded in 1898 and is located in West Mifflin, PA.

1) The skycoaster: The Skycoaster is not really a ride; it is a flight. One, two or three flyers are suited in a nylon harness and then attached to a cable that pulls them to the top of the launch tower. From 180' above ground, riders decide when to release themselves with a parachute like ripcord, then free-fall at approximately 75 mph! This ride is not included in the admission fee but it is worth paying extra for the thrill!

2) Turnpike: No not the turnpike that some of you drove on to get here. Turnpike was built in 1966; the Turnpike's original cars were gas powered. Today's ride features delightful, antique style, electric cars that travel a mile scenic track with bridges and overpasses. This ride is a favorite for young and old alike..

3) Log Jammer: The Log Jammer was Built in 1975, Kennywood's first million-dollar ride. It's also one of the most beautiful log flume rides anywhere. You travel this beautiful log ride through 1650 feet of water in hollowed-out logs. The ride includes two lift hills, a 27' spillway drop and a 53' drop down the final chute. You are sure to get wet on this ride but on a hot summer day this is the perfect cool off ride.

4) Noah's Ark: Ok so it is not really a ride but it is a must do on your visit. Built in 1936, Noah's Ark is one of only two remaining walk-through rides of this type in the world today. Re-themed several times (most recently in 1996), guests now embark on an adventure to the famous Ark by riding an abandoned elevator and drudging through the cavernous belly of the mountain it rests upon.
