Most people don't make the distinction between psychics and psychic mediums. Mediums have the ability to communicate with the spirits of dead people, while psychics don't have this ability to communicate with spirits. Mediums can communicate through physical means or using a variety of mental forms like clairvoyance, clairsentience, and clairaudience. This article will discuss the forms of communication used by psychic mediums.

Physical Communication

Some psychic mediums use physical communication as a way of contact. They gather relatives of the deceased person and hold a private seance. The purpose of this seance is to link spirits with the living world through physical methods like knocking, body movements, etc. Some psychic mediums claim to be able to conjure up materialized figures of the deceased person. Besides using physical communication, some mediums use a variety of mental forms of communication. One of the most common is clairvoyance, or clear seeing.

Clairvoyance

Clairvoyant mediums have a heightened sense of vision. Psychic mediums who purport to be clairvoyant use this heightened sense of vision to see pictures in their minds. They are able to see the spirit as if it were directly in front of him in the room. They are able to describe the deceased person in detail to the relatives. In addition to clairvoyant mediums, some of them have the ability to use clairsentience, or clear feeling.

Clairsentience

Clairsentience is the ability to experience the emotions of a spirit. Psychic mediums use this ability to receive feelings from the spirit of the deceased. They can feel a range of emotions like grief and pain. In some instances, psychic mediums can even tell relatives exactly what caused their loved one to die. One of the last mental forms of communication that mediums usually use is clairaudience, or clear feeling.
