After all, any extra protection is beneficial to your overall health.
Keeping your immune system healthy will also serve to ward off fatigue; if your body is worn down, you will be less successful at fighting infections. Immune system cells can be damaged or destroyed by what is known as 'free radicals'; namely, unstable oxygen molecules. These free radicals develop due to poor nutrition, alcohol, cigarettes, and other pollutants in the air.
Vitamins from proper nutrition and eating healthy will help to stave off the forming of free radicals. If you find yourself lacking a certain vitamin or two in your diet, try taking a multi-vitamin once per day.
Daily exercise is another way to keep yourself healthy, as it ensures a healthy supply of oxygen and promotes blood circulation.
