Okay well here are two different types of guitars to change your strings on. But don't change your strings unless you REALLY need to, because sometimes it can be a BIG hassle. Now there are two types of guitars that have their strings set differently. The first is any Fender strat or stratocaster look-alike. They have their strings in the bridge of the guitar, so these can be quite tricky. the second is any other kind of guitar pretty much. Keep in mind that these are electric guitars and I will not be doing a review on any acoustic guitars.

FENDER ELECTRIC GUITAR

Step one: Unwind the tuners at the neck of the guitar, and slide the strings out, being careful not to cut yourself on the tips of the strings because they can be very sharp.
Step two: On the back of the guitar, there is a cover. Take out the screws and take off the cover. Then there are 6 holes in the back of the guitar. Now the strings ends should be in the little holes. One string for each hole. Take out the end of the string and pull the opposite end through the back.
Well there you go, that is for taking them out. To put them in, just do the same process but backwards.

OTHER ELECTRIC GUITARS

Step one: Wind down the tuners on the guitar and just slide out the top of the string.
Step two: On the bridge of the guitar, slide the bottom ends of the string out of the back of the bridge.
Now thats about it. And again for putting strings onto the guitar, just redo these steps backwards.

Now when choosing strings for the stratocaster look-alikes, i would recommend the Fender silver bullets. They used to be the original strings that Fender put on their guitars, and boy they sounded amazing. I think that they may actually still put them on all of their guitars or on some of them.

When choosing some strings for your other guitars ie; gibson, epiphone, etc. But i would recommend some gibson strings. A light gauge will sound much better for any type of rock, but a heavier gauge is better for blues-ish kind of music.
