Earlier this year, I posted three articles about three distinctly different television shows that were on two distinctly different paths. One article was on the downfall of One Tree Hill. Another was on the rise of Grey's Anatomy, and the third one was on the confusion of Lost. Well, their seasons have ended, with the exception of One Tree Hill at press time and all three of them were picked up for the 2007-2008 seasons. Granted, One Tree Hill will now be a mid-season replacement, but it has been picked up. I think that it's safe to say that all three shows had dramatically improved since the articles that I have written were posted. So, here is a few synopses and thoughts on the shows as they were. Let me add that there are spoilers so if you haven't seen the shows, please do not read any further.

Lost ended with a suicidal Jack (played by Matthew Fox) telling Kate (played by Evangeline Lilly) that they should've never left the island. The show began with Future Jack learning that someone that both he and Kate knew had died. This person, whose identity has still yet to be revealed, had no funeral and no visitors except for Future Jack, who was dealing with a lot of issues. On the island, Jack was able to be the leader that he was once given the position of being and he managed to contact a boat in which Naomi, a new castaway, had contact to. Charlie (played by Dominic Monaghan) managed to get into contact with Desmond's lost love, Penny (played by Sonya Walger), and save Desmond (played by Henry Ian Cusick) before he met his demise due to a grenade flooding the hatch that he was in. However, he also managed to let Desmond know that Naomi was not from Penny's search team after all.
