Mike Tyson Aims for Bollywood K.O.

Who would've ever guessed that former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson would go from being in the ring, to being on the big screen? Yes the big screen, but not your ordinary Hollywood big screen, your Bollywood big screen. Bollywood has become the "next big thing" when it comes to actors and directors within the filming industry. The bollywood styles of films are based on the Indian entertainment industry, which often involves dancing and musicals. Mike Tyson, the same Mike Tyson that bit the ear of Evander Holyfield and the leg of Lennox Lewis, is now the same man that can call himself an "actor".

Tyson shot a promotional video for the Indian movie titled "Fool n Final" directed by Ahmed Khan. The movie is about a diamond heist and features Mike Tyson dancing too Bollywood music at the video shoot in Las Vegas. Due to his recent legal troubles with drug possession charges in addition to a dui, Tyson had to get clearance from a Phoenix judge just to travel to Las Vegas to compose the video. The dance sequence was originally suppose to be done in India, but was relocated to Las Vegas for security purposes. Over the two day period of the shoot, an estimated 100 performers came out to show off their skills.

Mike Tyson says that while doing the music video he was approached by famed Bollywood producer Firoz Nadidwala in regards to a movie. Tyson reflected on the music video by saying "The atmosphere was very congenial, happy and energetic." While continuing to talk on Firoz Nadidwala and the script presented before him, Tyson says the script is "very interesting with tons of excitement thrown in." Director Ahmed Khan admits he was a little bit skeptical about getting Tyson to work on this project based on everything he has heard about his mood swings. Mood swings? Mike Tyson doesn't have mood swings; he just fails to know how to act at times. Ahmed further stated that "Somebody will get Shakira, somebody will get Tata Young. I said lets get somebody who is not the usual thing, we thought of Mike Tyson, and got him."
