America Gives the Finger
You know, America has built a society based on giving a finger. They give the finger of blame at every opportunity. Don't think it's true? Think again. Who do we blame if we hurt ourselves? Who do criminals blame for their crimes? Who do we blame if our children aren't doing well in
school? Well, should we be doing this? Absolutely not. I am sick of it. These are just some examples of what is going on in this country, and how Americans can always find something or someone to blame.
How many times have you heard lawsuits about McDonald's? The answer? A lot. McDonald's seems to be a target for lawsuits. The most memorable one is the lady that spilled piping hot coffee all over her and then sued. Did she sue because the lid wasn't on correctly, or maybe the cup was messed up? No. She sued because McDonald's failed to warn her that it was hot. "No thanks, ma'am, I'll take a cold coffee to go!" No. Your coffee is hot, you should know that. Stop whining.
Another great McDonald's problem is put upon them by the fat people. No, not overweight, not obese. Just fat. It's easier to say. McDonald's was under a lot of pressure recently because people were getting fat from eating their food. Imagine! Why should McDonald's be in trouble because you can't control your eating habits? Really, people. Get a life.
Some great examples begin with children. For example, a lot of kids act up. They're just plain bad, and people like to blame their friends, their teachers, genetics, or anything else they can get that blame-passing finger pointed at. I'll tell you what the problem is. The problem is you, parents. Sure, some kids are bound to act out worse than others. You may have one kid you have never had to discipline, and another that might be the Devil himself. So what? You discipline that child until he behaves. If you have to lock him in his room and board up his windows, go for it! Eventually, 99.9% of the time, you can discipline a child enough to make them fly right. Also, people start too late. "My baby is too young to give a spanking to!" Garbage. If they are old enough to act up, they are old enough for the tried-and-true spanking.
