Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Syracuse, NY - a Review

I first discovered Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Syracuse, NY while at the New York State Fair shortly after moving to Syracuse a few years ago. For those who are still unaware of the existence of such an amazing barbecue place, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is a regional barbecue chain in upstate New York. Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is quite simply the best barbecue that I have had anywhere in the United States. It is universally known and recognized as such by upstate New Yorkers, and even former United States President Bill Clinton has acknowledged the supremacy of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que on the national level. About Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Bill Clinton is quoted as having stated that "I come from a place where barbecue is not food; it is a way of life. It is a philosophy of human nature. I have rarely had any as good as this." (Bill Clinton, September 1, 2000)

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que was started by three bikers who had a passion for good barbecue, and since its founding in 1983 it has been recognized on the national level as one of the best barbecue joints in the United States. Speaking from personal experience, it is easy to see why Dinosaur Bar-B-Que has gained so much recognition. The tenderness of their meats and the flavor of their proprietary barbecue sauce are second to none and will leave you hankering for more. One of my favorite Dinosaur Bar-B-Que menu items is their pulled pork sandwich, which features a heaping mound of pulled pork dripping with the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que barbecue sauce. Dinosaur Bar-B-Que also features racks of ribs, pork brisket, and a number of other dinosaur sized barbecue specialties that will appeal to the dinosaur appetite in anyone.
