Located less than an hour west of Cincinnati, Ohio, Hyatt's Grand Victoria Casino & Resort is a Las Vegas style hotel in the heart of the Midwest. Within a few hours drive of millions of potential gamblers, Rising Sun, Indiana's Grand Victoria Casino contains an 1,100 seat theater, 201 hotel rooms, the region's only Scottish links-style golf course, and thousands of gaming possibilities.

As far as gambling is concerned, nearly 1,400 slot machines are at players disposal, in addition to a plethora of table games that range from blackjack and craps to poker and roulette. Open around the clock, the actual casino regularly hosts gaming tournaments with rather large payouts; the winner of the 2007 Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament will leave the casino ten thousand dollars richer, or as a potential competitor in the World Series of Poker. Regular payouts are also achieved at the slot machines, with recent winners taking home between six and thirty-two thousand dollars!

Not only are a variety of gaming experiences offered, but dining as well is varied from casual to elegant. The Grand Victoria's four restaurants include the River View Buffet, an all-you-can-eat venture overlooking the Ohio River, and Picadilly's Deli, which serves a variety of sandwiches, pastries, and cookies. Perhaps the greatest on-board dining experience is at Wellington's Italian Steakhouse, where the menu includes many fines wines, seafood, choice beef cuts, and lamb chops, and the atmosphere is quite Victorian.. The fourth available culinary option aboard is Big Vic's Pub & Grub, a sports cafe that features live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.

Another attraction to the Grand Victoria for regional vacationers is the Scottish links-style golf course, which features discounted rates, a club house including one fully-stocked pro shop, and GPS-equipped golf carts. In addition, the course is open from December until March, approximately two months longer than many other courses in a region where golf-friendly weather may well extend into late autumn.
