Beach 1 in Lake Erie, PA is Very Convenient

Beach 1 is a very convenient beach to go to when visiting the Presque Isle peninsula in Lake Erie, PA. One of the reasons that it is popular is because it is at the very beginning when you first come into the park. When you visit Beach 1 you will not have to drive very far at all. You will also find that there is plenty of parking because Beach 1 has a nice big parking lot that holds quite a few vehicles. So always check and see if that is the beach that you wish to stop at because it is the first one when you are coming into the park.

Beach one is equipped with a beach for changing and there are restrooms. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after you have been swimming all day. Because Beach 1 has a long stretch of sandy shores there is plenty of room to spread out on the beach. Make sure that you bring along your picnic gear because there is not a concession stand at this beach. If you really get hungry you can walk down the roadway to the little restaurant called Sara's. It is not too far and they have plenty of wonderful foods and their prices are very reasonable. You will enjoy getting a meal from them and you will especially want to try their onion rings. They are very good, indeed. There are a few picnic tables on Beach 1, but you might have to go pretty early to get yourself one. Otherwise you might want to bring a folding table so that you can set it up on the beach. This will help to keep the sand out of your food when you are there for the day. It makes things a lot easier. Be sure that you also bring along your suntan lotion, sunglasses and sunhat when you are planning to visit the beach for the day. You want to protect yourself from the sun's rays as best that you can. Nothing will ruin your time as much as a sunburn will, so do all that you can to assure that you will not feel that pain on your visit to the Beach 1.

Another nice part about Beach 1 is that there are not any jetty areas. This can be quite interesting if there is a strong breeze or a storm coming because you can see some good wave action when you are on the beach at those times.
