Google Feature: IGoogle for Quick Access to Your Google Documents and Spreadsheets Etc...

Google has personalized home pages that you can customize. Some of the features you can choose are great.

IGoogle is a way that you can have important information come to you on one page and will save you time searching. You log into the IGoogle using your free Gmail account information.

To customize your page choose the link at the top that says choose theme, the themes will dynamically change as the time changes for your location. When it gets dark outside, the page will change to a nighttime theme. There are several themes to choose from.

To keep the pages loading fast, you can make different tabs within your homepage, and have different things on different pages.

To add stuff to your new personalized page click on the add stuff link. Here you can choose from many different gadgets. You can have sticky notes on your home page where it's easy to keep up with notes and thoughts. There are many different news options. See where the earthquakes are in the world with a click of a button. There is a spell check so you can check the spelling of any word. Some of the gadgets are from Google, some are built by others and are put up there to share, before it is added to the home page, Google will alert you if it isn't built from them, and you will then have a choice of whether you want to add it or not.

IGoogle has it so you can get quick access to your Google Docs and Spreadsheets, and to Google's calendar. This will give you a link to your documents that you have online. With the calendar you can quickly see what is on your schedule from the homepage.

There are many things that can be added, and new stuff is added all the time. It is very useful to be able to log onto the home page and see what is listed on my to-do list and what is planned on my calendar, since you are able to share your calendar, you can keep up with what your co workers, or family members have scheduled for that day.

IGoogle will save you time throughout the day, it is easy to set up, can be used from any computer that you can log into to, and is constantly updated with the information that you requested, and need.
