The second season of Cartoon Network’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force continues the work of the first season, which is to see how many asinine situations the three mutants (Frylock, Master Shake, and Meatwad) can get into, along with how much trouble they can get into with their neighbor Carl. A cameo by Family Guy’s Seth McFarlane and a hilarious episode involving drawn out and tedious flashbacks by a robot turkey highlight this great season.

Episode Guide:

Mail Order Bride: Carl and Master Shake are excited about their Christmas gift to themselves, a Chechnyan mail order bride that they are going to co-marry. However their plan fails when she is unwilling to marry either of them and after the ceremony drives off in Carl’s car. Frylock and Meatwad exchange gifts but Meatwad’s lack of intelligence leads to a slew of bad gifts (including “sunglasses” for Frylock made out of bark and leaves).

Super Birthday Snake: Instead of getting Meatwad the rabbit he wants, Master Shake gets him a snake that eventually eats them both. Meatwad names the snake Nathan Scott Phillips and gets drunk while Shake tries to kill the snake with alcohol. Frylock tries to save them both by blowing up the snake, but ends of killing Shake and Meatwad. Without the two roommates bickering with him, Frylock lives a free lifestyle of pimping and drinking. But Shake, Meatwad, and the newly dead Carl visit him from the afterlife.

Universal Remonster: Emory and Oglethorpe strike again, this time stealing cable from the Force via the “Space Gate” (which they make sure is not like the movie/television series Star Gate). They use the gate in order to send their newest creation, a teddy bear with arms and legs made of remote controls. Instead of creating fear on Earth, the monster proves to be helpful to Shake and the Force, in their search of leisure living.
