Bridal Shower Games - How to Create Your Own Games for a Bridal Shower

Whether you are the mother of the bride or groom, maid of honor or a bridesmaid it a challenge to try and think of ideas for a bridal shower let alone try to come up with some games that your guest will enjoy.

First make sure that you have enough gifts for everyone. The dollar store has inexpensive gifts, cookbooks are always a popular idea also if you can purchase them at a discount store this is something most people enjoy. Candles are another gift idea you can't go wrong with.

Now for the for the game ideas.

When your guest first arrive at the door have them fill out a card with their name and guess how many M&M's are in the jar. Later on during the shower you can reveal the winner and have them pick a prize.

Also, hand out raffle tickets at the door to everyone. You can call a few numbers off for prizes later on during the shower.

Another idea for a game is to ask the guest to make as many words from "Bridal Shower" in 5 or 10 minutes. Make sure you have enough pens and paper for everyone.

You can also ask your guest questions for example "anyone who has a photo of the bride and groom in the wallet and can be the first to present it wins a prize", or "Is any one married to the (same name as the groom) if there is no answer then ask (any kids with that name). Another question is anyone have a birthday on the wedding day? The closet one with a birthday to the date of the wedding wins. You can ask questions like does anyone have (___) in their purse?

Get a scale and weigh all the purses individually. The person with the heaviest purse wins. This is a lot of fun to find out just who carries everything with them!

A favorite is while the bride is opening her gifts give everyone bingo cards. Call off numbers that are stuck to each gift as she opens them. This way they will keep busy if there are alot of gifts to open.
