So, you want to get paid to write articles online. Article writing is one of the easiest ways to make money writing via the internet. Many freelance writers get their start in writing articles, and a lot of them find that they enjoy writing articles so much that they make article writing their freelance writing niche.

There are many ways to get paid to write articles online. You can write content articles for websites, or articles for online newsletters or ezines. You can even write articles for blogs. Although online article writers often don't earn as much money as writers whose articles appear in print publications, writing for the internet is much simpler and faster, and it's much easier to find work.

If you can write at a minimum high school level, are fluent in English, and have a good grasp for doing online research, you'll have no trouble writing articles online. The hardest part is finding those first paying jobs. There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of new article writing jobs posted online every day. However, most people hiring writers want writers with at least some experience or published clips. Don't panic. All freelance writers just starting out face this block. Luckily, you don't need a vast amount of experience to get paid to write articles online.

What you will probably want to do is write a few articles on subject matter that appeals to you and that will relate to the types of article writing jobs you aspire to. Once you have a few articles written, you can provide these as writing samples to potential employers/clients. If you're serious about wanting to find article writing work, you might even want to start your own website or blog to show off your writing samples. This way, you can point editors and clients to the URL of your site or blog, rather than having to attach multiple samples.

Actually, most of the articles I've seen are written at closer to a 5th grade level. :P And the ones done by folks for whom English isn't a first language... hmm. :P At least the AC editors keep the quality a bit higher here.
