Common Sense Baby Cream - Not The Best Diaper Cream Out There

I have tried out eight different diaper creams on my baby boy. One of the diaper creams that I used on him was the Common Sense Baby Cream.

Now I have said it before and I will say it again, the warning labels on anything always gets me thinking. I am not going to use a toothpaste on my child that he can't swallow and I am going to see what diaper creams have warnings about too. Oddly enough when it comes to Common Sense Baby Cream there is no warning label, like another diaper cream that I have used, and that is very odd to me. However I assume that it is a positive thing that the company isn't making a point to tell people not to swallow or make contact with their eyes and Common Sense Baby Cream. Still as much as no threating warnings are nice to see I always examine the ingredients as well.

Common Sense Baby Cream Ingredients

Castor Oil, zinc oxide, beeswax, sweet almond oil, safflower oil, shea butter, anise, bergamot, amyris, molasses, howood, cedarwood, geranium, cinnamon, lavandin, palmarosa, vanilla, patchouli, ylang ylang, styrax & tonka bean (essential oils & natural extracts), aloe vera oil, lichen extract, calendula oil, d-alpha tocopheryl acetate (vit e), tocopherol (vit e).

Right away I am surprised to see that zinc oxide isn't the first ingredient listed, usually in diaper cream formulas zinc oxide is the only active ingredient. I couldn't help but wonder why there isn't more zinc oxide than Castor Oil in the diaper cream, but I am not concerned because after looking into Castor Oil I discovered that it is actually really good stuff. On another positive note Common Sense Baby Cream does not contain mineral oil or glycerin.

After trying Common Sense Baby Cream I'll be honest and tell you that it does work, works very well actually. The container that it comes in allows you to get every single last drop, that was something that I really liked.

The big question on everyone's mind is would I buy it again. It would be my second choice, no third choice, nearly tied with one other diaper cream.
