Decide whether photos should be taken before or after the wedding Church or other facility – Reserve the church or place for the wedding to take place. Reserve a reception hall. Order invitations – Send out when it’s time Newspaper announcements – Photos and info should be sent to your local paper Rehearsal dinner – Make sure you know who’s coming to the rehearsal dinner. Gifts for those in the wedding party – Buy tokens of appreciation for the wedding party. Wedding cake, punch, and other refreshments – Hire a caterer. Get a wedding cake ordered. Select refreshments to serve. Decorations for the church and reception – Order flowers, decorations, ribbons, and etc. Make sure you have helpers to decorate church or hall Equipment rental – Rent any tables, chairs, microphones or any other type of equipment you might need for the wedding or reception.
