Steps to planning a wedding, the checklist

Contact the wedding party. Select the bridesmaids and grooms, wedding singer, organist, pianist, ring bearer, flower girl, and anyone else. Gowns/Tuxes – Pick out a wedding dress. Pick out bridesmaids’ dresses and tuxes. Photographer – Line up a photographer. Decide whether photos should be taken before or after the wedding Church or other facility – Reserve the church or place for the wedding to take place. Reserve a reception hall. Order invitations – Send out when it’s time Newspaper announcements – Photos and info should be sent to your local paper Rehearsal dinner – Make sure you know who’s coming to the rehearsal dinner. Gifts for those in the wedding party – Buy tokens of appreciation for the wedding party. Wedding cake, punch, and other refreshments – Hire a caterer. Get a wedding cake ordered. Select refreshments to serve. Decorations for the church and reception – Order flowers, decorations, ribbons, and etc. Make sure you have helpers to decorate church or hall Equipment rental – Rent any tables, chairs, microphones or any other type of equipment you might need for the wedding or reception.

this article is very helpful. I am already married but my wedding was very last minute and awful me and my husband will be renewing our vows on our 10th wedding anniversary and I want our wedding done right I will be favoriting your article so I know what all goes into a real wedding.
