First Impressions of AssociatedContent.com
For years I have been trying to make money on-line. Web Hosting, Google Adsense, affiliate programs, and selling links are just a few of the things I have tried in the past, but in the end, they all fell short of my expectations. There was just no real way to know
how much money you would make in a month. A good month might net you enough to pay all your bills for a few months, but a bad month might leave you wishing you had a job at McDonald's.
So after years of trying and failing, I hung up my hat, got a real job and said goodbye to making money on-line.
For a year I worked as a tech support agent for a VOIP company, making $8.00 an hour, and dealing with some of rudest human beings on Earth. Having very few bills and living alone, I didn't need much money. Shockingly (to most people), $600 a month is enough to pay every single bill I have, including food. So I worked the bare minimum of 20 hours a week, which made me $640 a month, before taxes.
Did you know that working for more than a year with a headset strapped to your head is enough for officials in the United States to declare you legally insane? No? Go look it up.
Alright, so it might not be enough to declare someone insane, but it was definitely enough to make me hate my job. So finally, after months of going back and forth, I quit.
So there I was (only a week ago) wondering once again how I was going to pay my bills. Perhaps I had made a bad decision, but there was no way I was going back to tech support. So what was I going to do? I fell back on an old habit and hit the Internet hard in a search for ways to, "Make Money On-line!"
After many failed prospects I finally came across Associated Content. I had never heard of them before, but the promise of "we pay anywhere from $3-$20 per article" caught my attention. Hmm... there had to be a catch. I mean, if this was legit I could write 3-4 articles a day and pay all my bills. I could actually work from home.
