Picture it. Rosemont Theater in Illinois.  Hundreds of trollin’ tarts and blue haired mamas mixed in with the occasional Boystowner. Their collective goal? All hoping for a touch, a feel, a hunka hunka burnin’ Trent. 

Trent Carlini, the latest Elvis impersonator to don a white jumpsuit in Vegas, graced the Chicagoland area recently with his presence. And what a presence it is. Sure, it may not be only his own aura that fills an arena. After all, he DOES make a living cashing in on one of the biggest legends in the world, Elvis Presley. It may be kind of cheesy, it may be a tad dated, but if you want to please a crowd full of drooling women and (too cool to say we like it) men, then Trent is your kind of show. 

He works the stage like a hungry panther, pouncing back and forth, singing, sweating and gyrating his way through a huge selection of classic Elvis songs. He changes outfits continuously in order to give you the full experience of a career that spans 3 decades. Trent does have the vocal chops and range to pull off even the toughest King crooner, and Trent’s own natural charm and talent come shining through the façade. With a solid backup band and singers, they put on a great show that pleases the masses. And what a mass it was that night. I literally saw a pair of ‘granny panties’ tossed on the stage. How sad. How embarrassing. I mean the least I could have done was to wear the purple satin ones that evening!
