Barefoot Landing is a popular shopping and dining location that is located in Myrtle Beach. You will find many coupons for Barefoot Landing in the tourist books available, and you will also see many billboards around town for the attraction. Barefoot Landing is also home to the famous reptile museum Alligator Adventure. When visiting Myrtle Beach this year, my husband and I decided to visit Barefoot Landing and see what all the hype was about! When we arrived at Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach we noticed that many of the shop names appeared to be the same as those at the other popular shopping and attraction destination in Myrtle Beach, Broadway At The Beach. Since we had already been to Broadway At The Beach twice at this point we weren't interested in seeing anymore of the same shops. We skipped the shops that were the same like Tiki Jim's, Tango Bay, and Toys & Co. We did visit some of the other shops at Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach, but we didn't really think they were anything special. Barefoot Landing just seemed like a run-of-the-mill outdoor shopping mall to us!
Since the shops were a no-go, we decided to try and find a bite to eat. We turned out to be disappointed with the selection of restaurants at Barefoot Landing. The restaurants included Greg Norman's Australian Grille, Joe's Crab Shack, Dick's Last Resort, Fire Island Grille, T-Bonz Grill and Café, as well as some other smaller restaurants. All of the bigger restaurants had menus posted outside, so we took a look before deciding to go in and eat. After looking at all of the menus we found the selection of food at each restaurant to be small, and the restaurants were also priced higher than we wanted to spend that night. We decided not to eat at Barefoot Landing and instead to check out the attractions.
Attractions at Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach include the famous Alligator Ally outdoor reptile museum, the Mirror Maze, Ghosts & Legends, and the Alabama Theater. Although all of the attractions looked fun enough, they were all at least $10 a person. We didn't want to spend that much money that day, so we decided to leave Barefoot Landing.
