1. The Eiffel Tower - As cliche as this may be, it's actually quite amazing. I suggest going at nighttime, when the tower is lit up, and you can see the lights of the surrounding buildings. It is very beautiful, and there is a lot to do surrounding it (usually including creperies!). There is a restaurant on the second platform, but I have heard that is expensive, and requires reservations. I didn't see this on my visit, but I was a bit preoccupied with my fear of heights.

2. The Louvre - There is so much to do here, you may have to plan out what you want to see. I was amazed with everything I saw, and I'll definitely come here everytime I'm in Paris. Take note of the lovely glass pyramid outside, made more famous recently, by the Davinci Code. There is too much to see in one trip, but the museum contains collections of Greek art, Egyptian art, oriental art, statues, and paintings. The famous Mona Lisa is here, although you'll have to wait in line to see it. They offer several suggested routes to help you view the most famous pieces easily.

3. Galeries Lafayette - At ten stories tall, this is probably the largest store in Paris. With it's domed ceilings, it is probably also the most beautiful. Inside is also included the largest souvenir shop in Paris. This is the perfect place to buy gifts for friends, and you might as well do some other shopping while you're there. It is very user-friendly, and has a good mix of couture designers, and regular designers at normal prices. There are designer stores inside included Louis Vuitton, and Ralph Lauren. Practically anything you may want, you'll find it here.

You can't go wrong with any of these gorgeous places. Another one to add to the list is Sainte Chapelle, one of my favorite churches in Paris. I also love the gargoyles on the outside of the very dark and gothic Saint Severin and Saint Severin has the oldest church bells in Paris, going back to the 1400's I believe. What a lovely city Paris is.
