An Insider's Guide to Finding the Perfect Dwelling in Pullman, WA
The city of Pullman can be divided into several areas. The first area is aptly named Fraternity Row. The area is located near the main bookstore, on the north end of campus. However, if you are a student looking for some peace and quiet, you might want to look further. WSU is well known for being a party school and the majority of the partying occurs in these small confines.
Another section of Pullman that is known for its all-night parties is an area called College Hill. This area is located in the Northwest part of town. Simply follow Stadium Way north, past Grand Ave and it's the residential area at the top of the hill. The rent in this area is very affordable but vacancies are limited. Visit www.hillapts.com to get more information about rentals in this area.
However, if you prefer something with a slower heartbeat then try looking in the south part of town. This area is located near the new Pullman Memorial Hospital. The rent is more expensive but is also much more quieter and in close proximity to many of the city's businesses.
Another section of town that one might find solace is in Northeast part of town, near Pullman High School. The community is new and expanding, which is apparent from the construction of new apartments. I especially like this part of town because the buildings are fairly spaced apart and some dwellings offer great views of the rolling hills in the back drop. Dabco Property Management has many offerings in this area, so visit them on the web at www.dabcomgmt.com.
