How to Save Your Fuel and Gasoline Costs
I think I can remember when I can fill my tank with $15.00 and I am good to go for like two weeks. This same amount of money now does not bring my tank to the half. Let us face it, gas prices are exponentially high and they are not getting cheaper. With a
loss of a united front against the fuel tycoons we have nothing but to try to conserve fuel as much as possible. There are of course many guides out there who will tell you how to save your gas and I am not offering anything different. I am simply offering a simple way that has worked for me and proved successful. Before, I tell you what you need to do, let me divide the solution into two sections.
One would be the general part and the other would be the practical part.
General:
We all know that fuel cost depends on the supply and demand. Thus, due to the fact that our demand is high, very high so the fuel prices are extremely high. Let us forget for a second that maybe, just maybe, the fuel companies are not trying to scam us and exploit every dime out of our pockets. So, with demand high, the only possible answer is to lower our demand. We can do this by relying on other products or using natural resources. For example, we can start using natural gas, solar power, hybrid cars, hydrogen, etc. We can maybe just maybe, stop producing these humongous SUVs and stop buying them because they take way too much gas and are worsening the situation.
We can also start being more active and political in our protests against these companies that are just using us and no one is able to stop them. We need to have massive boycotts across the nation and not just for a day but for a week or even boycotting the major players such as Mobile or Exxon. We can not just keep whining about the gas prices and then go buy and SUV and keep filling gas every other day. We can also write to our lazy senators who can not seem to agree on anything anymore. We can write to our presidential candidates to make this an election issue. Whatever it is we decide to do, our action must be united and solid.
