Mad Money is on CNBC twice a night. A taped version of the first show is shown later for those that miss the first one. On June 12 Mad Money was viewed for the 500th time.

Jim Cramer, the star of Mad Money, is a very talkative and colorful individual. Although he doesn't know everything about the Markets, he has a well trained staff that researches and tries to keep himself as well as everyone else up to date.

Mad Money has a set that all types of items on it. Stuffed animals, bobble heads, hammers, apple pies, chairs, hats, cups and whips just to mention a few. Cramer uses these as props for his show. He also has a unique sound system that one can listen too by going to www.cnbc.com . Cramer uses this sound system to emphasize his points on various stocks. Jim is quick to give his impression of where certain stocks are headed and whether you should buy or sell.

Jim Cramer graduated from Harvard in 1977. In his early years, he worked as a journalist for the Tallahassee Democrat. Jim then made the move to Los Angeles where he worked for the Herald Examiner. In 1978, while covering a shooting, a burglar cleaned out his bungalow and his checking account. He lived in his car with a 22 pistol and a hatchet for the following nine months.

In 1984 he got his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard and went to work for Goldman Sachs'. In 1987, he founded his own Hedge Fund called Cramer & Co. In 1996 he co-founded www.thestreet.com . Jim is currently working on a program to take over for the vacated spot of Imus in the Morning.

Dan Rather had a "60 Minutes" interview with Cramer. During that interview, Rather asked Cramer about his quick temper in the early 90's at his New York office. Cramer admitted that his temper was getting out of control at that time. However, he realized he had to get it under control.
