Connecting the colors in your rooms are not that hard to do. You just need to pick colors that will blend together and match up with the other decor in your home. Connecting your color scheme from room to room works especially good if you have large open doorways or an open floor plan in your home. This allows the colors to flow from room to room and gives it a more noticeable look. You can also match fabric from your furniture or curtains from one room to another to help tie your rooms in together. This can give your rooms a larger feel having them connect together and blend in the same then having your areas divided up. Make sure the colors and fabrics blend in together in a nice way. You don't want them to conflict with each other. You can also tie your doorway frame colors and the molding colors from around your room to connect all your colors together. This will add a nice touch in your rooms.

Try and pick out two or three good paint colors that go good together to use to connect your rooms together. To many colors will add a contrast to the rooms and make your rooms look to busy. You can use these three colors in different ways throughout your rooms to give each room its own look. You don't have to use the same wall color in each room. Just so you stick with one of the three colors you have chosen. You can mix them though out the rooms. Using the same trim color though out your rooms can give your rooms a tied in look. So try and stick with the same trim color. White is a popular trim color in rooms. It goes with any color and has that clean and finished look to it. You can keep paint color the same or weaken it down to give it a more muted look in your rooms if you desire. One paint shade can be used full strength or muted down. It is up to you.
