Try and pick out two or three good paint colors that go good together to use to connect your rooms together. To many colors will add a contrast to the rooms and make your rooms look to busy. You can use these three colors in different ways throughout your rooms to give each room its own look. You don't have to use the same wall color in each room. Just so you stick with one of the three colors you have chosen. You can mix them though out the rooms. Using the same trim color though out your rooms can give your rooms a tied in look. So try and stick with the same trim color. White is a popular trim color in rooms. It goes with any color and has that clean and finished look to it. You can keep paint color the same or weaken it down to give it a more muted look in your rooms if you desire. One paint shade can be used full strength or muted down. It is up to you.
