Facebook Applications: Your New Internet Addiction

I have to divulge something to you. You see, I have a problem. A growing addiction that could quite possibly take over the entirety of my existence (which consists watching movies and playing video games...but we won't go there). I don't know where to go or who to talk to, so I have decided to tell my story here so the world may learn from my folly...

I am addicted to Facebook apps! Unleashed upon the world when Facebook decided to open its doors to outside developers, these small applications allow you to personalize you profile in ways that you could never imagine!

Do you like movies? Oh, I like movies! Well do they have an App for you! The Movies app by Flickster allows you to create a listing of your favorite movies on your profile and hook up with friends to share reviews and ratings using the entire Flickster database. Just have to tell your friends how amazing "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum?" is? Well now you can! I've done it 136 times in the last 24 hours! Care more about music and literature? Don't worry they have their own ratings apps as well. No snob shall be left behind!

Tired of seeing random people who you accepted as friends, but not your REAL friends in your friends list? That's where the Top Friends app comes into play. Now you can rate your friends and bruise feeling just as viciously as you do on MySpace! I'm sorry Marty Patton from Spokane, Washington... you're just not top ten material! And if you really want to send the message home, HOT or NOT allows you to tell your friends just how ugly they are!

We all enjoy 'poking' our friends from time to time, but what if you feel that's just not enough. XMe allows you to set up your own special message for people to do to you. You could be hugged!
