This article is a continuation of a previous article that I wrote entitled "Pimp Your MySpace: How To Customize Your MySpace Page from the Ground Up". The initial article was so useful to many people on the web that I decided to write a new article with newer and more information. This way I may even further assist you in "pimping your MySpace". I would like to receive as many comments on BOTH of these articles as possible, so that I can answer your questions in future pieces. The link to the initial article on "pimping your MySpace" can be found HERE!

In the meantime, I will address some things that I did not mention in the initial article, as well as make some up to date corrections on websites that I recommend.

First of all, let's cover the basics...

As I've mentioned before, and you should know if you've signed up... When you sign up for a MySpace account, you are granted a boring ole' white page, and you have one friend. His name is Tom. I believe him to be the founder of MySpace. There are ways to try contacting him, but he is rarely available. Seriously, reaching him is like trying to file your way through a brick wall.

What to do? What to do?

THIS IS WHAT YOU DO! ... Go to websites that specialize in offering layouts, and custom "blogthings" for your page. You can do this by tediously performing a Google or Yahoo search on anything such as "MySpace Layouts" or "MySpace Generators". You may also be more specific and search for the exact item you are looking for to place on your page, such as "MySpace Contact Tables". Heck, you can probably search under "MySpace Things" and you will get tons of useful results. Either way, you are headed in the right direction.

In the initial, "Pimp Your MySpace: How To Customize Your MySpace Page from the Ground Up" article, I recommended a decent site called ChaseBadKids.net. NOW, I would rather refer you to a website titled Pimp-My-Profile.com. ChaseBadKids.net has fell a little behind, and Pimp-My-Profile.com, which offers an awesome layout generator as well as tons of useful items to place on your page, has become very popular over the past few months.

What to do? What to do?

Takeaways
  • What is Tom useful for? or is he even useful at all?
  • New website that offers a layout generator in which is much better than Chase Bad Kids!
  • The basics covered again!
