a Little Girl's Love for Her Dog and How She Misses Her Very Much
I was a happy little girl
When we saw you at the pound.
It was like you were waiting
For us to rescue you from your prison.
It was the happiest day in my life.
The brightest blessing that was you.
To kindergarten and back home we walked,
You and I.
My guardian angel from all harm.
The best playmate of all.
Your loud bark
And playful way
Kept the dark at bay.
A warm and loving soul you were.
A special dog,
A member of the family.
The one most missed.
Eleven years with you
Wasn't enough.
May you rest peace,
My sweet Panda.
