There are three main things you must possess to get what you want. Self-belief, attitude, and compromise are necessary in persuading others to go along with your ideas. Persuasion is an art and science that takes practice. I'll explain how to get what you want by successfully persuading others.

First, you need self-belief to get your way. You must believe with all your heart yours is the best product, idea, or your way is the best. These fundaments are crucial to getting what you want. If you go to a car dealership and the salesman doesn't drive the brand he's trying to sell, then it puts up a red flag. Customers think, "why should I buy this car? The salesmen doesn't even believe in this product."

Second, component to getting your way is attitude. A positive attitude attracts positive results. Smile, display some humor, and make eye contact making people comfortable to trust you and your idea, product, or way. Being passionate is the key to convince, persuade, and getting others to see it your way. This will build a strong mental attitude and attract positive results.

Third, in getting what you want is compromise. The function of compromising is willing to settle with someone. This is done by asking questions about the other person's ideas, not persuading, begging, or pleading. "Getting your way is not just about you. Sometimes getting your way means letting the other person have it their way as well," says Jeffrey Gitmoer.

Getting Your way is the ability to persuade. Fulfilling your objective and completion of your thought process also enables you to get your way. Outcome of a successful sell, meeting, or negotiation is the result. First a mind set and then a vision that is followed through is the key to getting what you want. It's all dependent upon your ability and desire to master the elements of this process.
