The Hampton Beaches in New Hampshire are the place to go and be in the summer time! The coast is very small in NH but there is a lot going on and there is a little something for everyone. I think that is what I like best about the area.

For vacationers there are lots of cottages you can rent or beautiful hotels right by the ocean. There are about 40 different hotels you can chose from and a lot of them also have wedding packages as well. So if you are looking for a beautiful place that has a little bit of everything Hampton is it. If you can not afford a cottage or hotel room by the ocean there are some cottages that are a little more set back but are still in walking distance to the shore line.

There are fireworks every Wednesday, free of charge, and they are not small displays. The fireworks are great and free of charge. What better way to spend an evening together by the ocean and watch fireworks. The fireworks start at dusk so you might want to get there a little bit early to find that perfect seat.

The food along Hampton Beach is amazing and there is something for everyone. They have Chinese food restaurants, seafood, steak places and even Mc Donald's for the kids; there are about 35 different places to eat so it is a pretty good chance you will find something you like. There are lots of ice-cream places and even salt water taffy which make really yummy treats.

There is no shortage of entertainment at Hampton Beach at all! They have free concerts at the Sea Shell stage almost every night starting Memorial Day weekend. There are events scheduled all through out the summer. These include Hampton Beach Catamaran Regatta (Sat., June 23, 2007 - Sun., June 24, 2007), Sand Sculpting Competition (Sat., June 15, 2007 - Fri., June 29, 2007), Miss Hampton Beach Pageant (Sun., July 29, 2007),
Hampton Beach Volleyball Tournament (Sat., August 18 - Sun., August 19, 2007.) and the 18th Annual Seafood Festival (Fri., September 7 - Sun., September 9, 2007). Make sure you plan ahead so you don't miss out, these events fill up quickly and parking is limited along the shore.
