In my last article, "Scrubs Guest Stars - Season One", I covered four of the more notable guest spots from the first season of the hit NBC medical comedy Scrubs. In this article, we will now move my pop culture expertise (I did pass the tests for VH1's reality game show World Series of Pop Culture, after all) to season two of Scrubs. With an impressive list to choose from - eleven major-minor guest stars (not counting cameos) - it was actually a little difficult to cut the list down to just a few. Since I like all of my readers so much, I suffered through that torture, and came up with the best guest stars from season two of Scrubs. The list is, again, in order of appearance, with a complete, eleven person listing at the end of the article.

J.D.'s older brother, Dan Dorian, is a family member that fans of Scrubs cannot forget. Unlike J.D., Dan still lives with his mother in their hometown, works in a local bar, and is just basically an all around slacker. With all that being said, somehow Dr. Elliot Reid, J.D.'s on again - off again girlfriend, found some part of that attractive, and had a short-lived fling with Dan. The person responsible for bringing Dan Dorian to life on NBC's Scrubs is Tom Cavanagh. Tom Cavanagh is most noted for having the starring role in Ed, which was another NBC show that ran for a total of four years. Most recently, Tom Cavanagh was seen in the CBS dramedy, Love Monkey, which CBS picked up for eight episodes, but only ran three. VH1 eventually bought the rights to air all eight episodes, and did so in mid-2006.

  • We also found out Turk had a brother who was wealthy and successful.

Thanks to perfecting his comedy persona in television shows like Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place, in which Ryan Reynolds played Berg (short for Michael Leslie Bergan).
