Over 400 Radical, Anti-US Islamic Centers Exposed

There are between 400 and 500 radical Islamic mosques in the United States, a private undercover organization has just disclosed.

David Gaubatz, the director of counterintelligence and counterterrorism for the Society of Americans for National Existence (SANE) told Insight Magazine, "Our initial investigation has concluded there are between 400 to 500 radical Islamic centers in the U.S. In those places, they

preach an extreme version of Islam that says America and the West is the enemy. They espouse violence, hatred and the need for terrorism."

A former senior U.S. intelligence official, Gaubatz now works for the national non-profit group Mapping Sharia, which is devoted to investigating the 2,300 Islamic centers in the U.S. for Muslim extremist activity and supported by SANE.

The Mapping Sharia in the U.S. website describes the mission: "The Mapping Shari'a in America Project is the world's first effort to systematically evaluate the threat that a nation faces from efforts to impose Shari'a within its borders." The Mapping Sharia project's investigators include seasoned intelligence and counter-terrorism experts and Islamic scholars (Muslims, Christians and Jews), many of whom are fluent in Arabic, Urdu, and Farsi.

"Shari'a is not merely speech, and it is certainly not religion as understood by the West," SANE's President, David Yerushalmi, said at a morning press conference, according to the Mapping Sharia site. "Rather, it is a political and ideological mandate to destroy the West. We believe that every act to teach, preach, and live according to traditional, historical, and authoritative Shari'a contributes to a criminal conspiracy to overthrow our government."

The Mapping Sharia project ranks Islamic mosques and schools in terms of their level of adherence to Shari'a. The Mapping Sharia project will also assess the risks these Islamic centers pose in terms of future Jihadist attacks. The project is making this information available to law enforcement and the public.

David Gaubatz, are you working with Daniel Pipes? That kind of explains everthing.

I will let the Koran speak for itself. Sura 9:29, "Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection." - Shakir's translation

Hi Moeursalen, I agree with you completely about the ease with which many in the U.S. criticize the Christians (and, yes, I agree some of the more heavy-duty, right wing ones can be exactly the type of pain to which you refer. And even when the occasional, evil wackos bombs an abortion clinic, which is definitely way outside of the guidelines for Christian living in the Bible and something upon which I suspect God frowns mightily, the Lutherans and the Methodists are not issuing fatwas or strapping bombs to their bodies for suicide missions. I think there's this naive mindset among the ... ahem ... intellectual set that all religions are good and preach love, justice, harmony, etc. These multiculturalists need to compare the examples of the Christian prophet Jesus with the violent track record and teaching of Mohammed. The Christian church is no longer engaged in the Crusades, and in many ways, those were a response to Islamic aggression.

Hi T.H., I really like your working title. ;-) I think these extremists are using the freedoms we enjoy in an open society against us, as a means towards their goal of Islamicizing the West. Look at what's happening in the U.K. A recent poll showed that quite a few Muslims in the U.K. want Sharia law in the U.K. This is the one that puzzles me -- why flee countries ruled by uneducated and fanatical mullahs to the freedom of the West, only to want to turn the western country that gave you a safe harbor into a Sharia state? Actually, it's kind of your question just worded differently, I think...

Insight's articles have been cited by FOX News, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Associated Press, Michael Savage, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, and Laura Ingraham -- among many others.

In fact you just gave me a great idea for an article at the very least, and is so interesting to me that I may do something more with it-"If Anti-US Muslim Extremists Are So Against The US, Then Why in the Hell Are They Living In the US-Siphoning from its Resources Only To Turn Around at a Later Date, As Planned, And Bite the Very Hand That's Been Feeding Them?"------Working Title of course. Have a great Day!

I wouldn't worry about that question. If the magazine is saying they are quoting someone of the Director's stature, I'm pretty sure they aren't going to fabricate such a quote. Very good article-cutting edge subject-kudos.

Do you know Insight Magazine well? Is this a reliable source? Just asking...

Good article, Kimberly. Too many people in America find it easy to criticize contemporary social demons like "the religious right" (which granted can be a pain in the ____ sometimes) but are very forgiving about the fanatic, violent, nazi tactics of militant Islam. It's really crazy that fanatical religious Hamas has made a coup in Gaza and murdered Fatah members. That's happening right now.
