The first items that you should sell on ebay would be items laying around your home, attic and basement. You can make at least $1000 selling extra items laying around your home. You can sell game systems, games, tools, clothes, etc. Anything you can possibly think of you can sell on ebay. Make sure to search for the item first to know how much people are charging for each item.

Items at garage sales also sell on ebay. Some items that you pay a couple of dollars for may be worth a whole lot more. I would suggest going to a lot of rummage sales and buying a few different things. Then look them up on ebay and see how much they will sell for. Make sure they are items that are worth something and in good shape. You might even want to think about buying some items from a pawn shop to sell as a package like video systems and games.

You will want to find items cheap to sell on ebay. One good way of finding items is searching for Wholesale 411 in googles search engine. You can then look up any items that you want to sell and get sites which have good prices. You can buy items at wholesale prices or you can choose to have them dropshipped right to your customer. I would also go to www.wahm.com and looking under the message boards for wholesale lists.

The items that sell the best on ebay are definately baby items such as used clothes, plus size clothing, coins, jewelry, purses (designer purses) and books. If you are thinking of selling any of these items you will want to get them as cheap as you can by checking different websites.

First, start by selling your own items. Next, you will want to find items at rummage sales. When you can't go to rumage sales you will want to buy items as wholesale prices from cheap websites. You can also check for different prices at www.pricegrabber.com.

I would suggest looking at the prices on the websites and seeing how much they go for on ebay. Some items you wont be able to make money on. Remember that you will want to charge for shipping, ebay fees and paypal fees. There is also a final value fee that you are charged once your item sells. Don't under-charge your customer.

Takeaways
  • Charge for shipping and all fees including a final value fee.
  • Sell items like childrens clothing, shoes, purses and coins.
  • Buy from a good wholesaler but research the website first.
