Need ways to combat this dilemma? Look no further! We have the answers right here so your family, spouse, children, etc. are taken care of and just as importantly, YOU are taken care of.

Fatigue has a variety of causes. Stress, an excessive workload, lack of exercise, effects of medication, sleep disorders, and poor diet are the most common. The great news with fatigue is that is often something that is easily fixable and let's delve into that right now, shall we?

First off, exercise. Get out and walk, start lifting weights, light jogging, jumping rope, etc. You need to stimulate that body and get it used to a daily exercise routine of some sort. Do not overdo it as that will cause exhaustion and contribute to your battle with fatigue. A solid 30 to 45 minutes of exercise a day should be a nice fit for most every lifestyle. Utilize little tricks like taking the stairs instead of the elevator. That is, unless you work in the Sears Tower.

You gotta eat! I am not talking about lunch at McDonald's polished off by 2,000 calories at dinner. I am talking about not missing meals and denying your body the fuel that it needs to take on the day and fight off fatigue. We are talking a BALANCED diet and that does not mean a large dinner and little else beforehand. That means breakfast, a solid lunch, then dinner. Try and overload your dietary requirements in one setting and you are asking for fatigue to overcome your day.

In relation to the recommendation above, do not eat big meals. A large meal redirects blood flow to the digestive tract and away from that big brain of yours. This results in a person becoming rather sleepy. Ring any bells with holiday meals with the family? Eat several light (and preferably healthy) meals throughout the day.

Don't be a butt-head! Yes, smoking causes fatigue, amongst other things even more serious. Zapped energy is just another in the long list of reasons to avoid this nasty little habit.
