The premise of the show is to bring healing to ex-spouses and partners who have been betrayed or left.
Three "famous" dumped women are the hosts who help in the healing.
1. Marla maples, infamous ex of Donald Trump
2. Shar Jackson, the then pregnant girlfriend of Kevin Federline. Federline married Britney spears while Jackson was pregnant with his second child.
3. Angie Everhart, who was briefly engaged to Sly Stallone, married to Ashley Hamilton, divorced months later, and was linked to Howard Stern.

The hosts are assisted by Life Coach, Debbie Ford. She is the New York Times Bestselling Author of Spiritual Divorce and The Darkside of the Light Chaser.

Participants attend a two day Debbie Ford (http://www.debbieford.com) Retreat at the beginning of their process. Ford puts them through various healing sessions such as the anger process where participants are blindfold for the process of identifying their anger. It is very raw. They were screaming, "I am not going to take it anymore." Ford says, "Coddling will only let people stay in their denial."
The highlight of the Debbie Ford Retreat is the "Bonfire Purge" participants' burn up all the memorabilia from the marriage. They burn rings, love letters, old clothes and whatever they have been holding on to.

It seems that the people bring on the show are the ones that have been wronged. Such as, one man was serving in Iraq, came home and found his wife in bed with another man. A woman was told nine years and two kids into that marriage that her husband was gay. He then proceeded to tell her it was her fault that he was.

Another got a disease while pregnant that caused her to gain fifty pounds. Her husband left her.
