Those who have not yet experienced "true love" will probably seem better off to those who have. Of course, unconditional love, whether from parents or a pet, has existed in their lives. However, they haven't a clue as to what it takes to be, or shall we say stay in love. Unfortunate as it sounds, there exists one simple quality that will keep love going strong, and at the same time have the power to end it without delay. Honesty: The powerful correlation between lovers.

In a relationship, honesty will bind two together because it forms trust. Relationships begin with a positive outlook, including hopes of everlasting love. Trust continually proves itself tremendous over and over in a partnership. It not only helps one's companion to be trusted, but also encourages the other to do the same. Alas, it does not tend to incessantly occur this way.

In a number of cases, when a lover is lied to (dishonest) and so on, the existing trust will decrease, along with the bond once formed by honesty. This bad judgment by the dishonest lover will create a depressing cycle of lies and mistrust, for now that the one who has been taken advantage of develops a tendency to subconsciously do the same, just as he/she would do in the positive sense.

In conclusion, honesty is a strong attribute that may make a beautiful and lasting love, but the lack there of can quickly change its chance of emerging, while possibly breaking it as well. And so, before one decides to take that giant leap into the emotion, responsibility, and honor of the most powerful thing between two people, sitting down and questioning the willingness of taking the risk would be a decent idea.
