In my entire life time, I have never won a single contest or sweepstakes offer. But, that hasn't stopped me from trying. My biggest problem has always been finding legitimate contests that won't require me to buy something and won't result in millions of spam e-mails in my inbox each day.

Searching the Web for contests used to be a tedious chore and I was lucky if I would find one or two that would interest me. That's why I was glad to find online-sweepstakes.com.

Online-sweepstakes.com does all the work of searching for me and lists every contest they can find all in one place; hundreds of them. The contests are constantly being updated and I'm able to find a new one each day.

The one thing I like about online-sweepstakes.com is how it's organized. I can either look the contests up by when they started or by when they are set to expire. If you register with the site (there's no cost) they also keep a record of the contests you've signed up with so you don't bother registering twice.

The selection of contests is also pretty decent. The majority of them are based on music CD's or movie releases (either the movie itself or promotional items relating to the movie) but, there are also contests to win free trips and gift cards to popular stores and restaurants. Even the way you can enter the contests varies a little bit. Some have online sign up while others require an e-mail or post card. Many of the contests are so obscure, you probably wouldn't find them if you were searching by yourself.

The site also clearly posts when each contest is set to expire and offers a quick link to the official rules of each contest. That doesn't sound like that big of a deal until you see some of the contests themselves and can't find any of that information on their own site.

The best part is I have yet to have a contest that required a purchase or resulted in spam mail. Most ask for my e-mail address but that's mainly to notify me if I won. I'm able to enter and, if I win a prize, great. If not, at least I had nothing to lose over it and won't have to clean out junk mail as a result of it.

Another great article. Sounds like my kind of site and I'm about to join also. Will let you know if I win anything.
