And using a common keyword that is extremely popular with Google web users will only result in web hits from people who might not find the info they were looking for. That happened because I used two popular keywords, "Acquire and wealth", and put them into my article main title on two different article submission sites.

If you just put in "acquire" or "wealth", these articles will not be on Google's main pages because those words are much too common for any kind of high-ranking to be achieved without a lot more effort and a huge SEO campaign behind it. That's why it's always best if you can find a perfect combination of two popular keywords that make logical sense in the context of your web site content if somebody searched for them together.
