Los Angeles has just too much in store for amusement hungry people from all over the world. Its famous amusement parks continue to captivate the imagination of people of all ages, all countries, irrespective of caste and creed.

Universal Studios Hollywood now draws the highest number of visitors, numbering almost five million a year, than any other attraction in Los Angeles County. The theme park has several excellent features although the simulated floods and earthquakes in the tram tour might be frightening for young kids. Its Studio Tour is a 45-minute narrated tram tour of the actual working studios that allows visitors a look at movie-making.

Revenge of The Mummy - The Ride, its first ever roller coaster ride, will bring you face to face with the fear of darkness, of insects, of speed, and of heights. You can also travel Back to the Future by hopping into DeLorean of 'Doc Brown' as time-travel volunteers for a wild ride through volcanoes. The film Shrek comes to life in Shrek-4D that features OgreVision animation and sensory immersion. Voiceovers include renowned comic talents like Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz. In Animal Planet Live! You can enjoy the performance among other animals of a psychic bull terrier, an obstreperous orangutan, and a thieving parakeet. The kids will just love it! Jurassic Park - The Ride

is a gentle rafting trip through a lush primordial park inhabited by cloned dinosaurs that becomes a nightmare as visitors come face to face with a voracious T-Rex. The only way to escape is an 84-ft plunge that would drench you all. Terminator 2: 3D is a special effect show created with the combination of action stunts, giant robots, and great 3D technology. Its other attractions are Water World, CityWalk and Meeting the "Stars."
