You think you are alone,

Abandoned.

You think you have been left to carry the weight of the world on your two small shoulders. Sometimes you feel as if you will buckle under the weight.

You aren't alone. I am with you. I will carry your burdens if only you will let Me.

Any earthly father, can only travel so far in your terrestrial land.

Can't you see that your Heavenly Father longs to carry you beyond the places your earthly father could ever go?

You live your life in anger. If only you could see the eternal perspective, all of the angles of life that I see from up here.

You live in fear. My child, perfect Love casts out fear. I love you with perfect love. You don't know that I have success and blessings prepared for you down the road.

You look around and all you see is darkness.

Look up, open your heart. You will find the Light. My precious child, as dear as any baby ever held in her father's hands, I love you with a love that never ends. I will carry you out of your darkness and into a land that flows with all the good things your heart desires.

I will hold you on the darkest of nights. Even when you can't see me, I will stand by your side.

I will be there, steady and strong for you when life's storms blow against you.

I am here. I have always been here. I have known you from your mother's womb, and loved you every moment of your life, the good and the bad.

I only wait for you to look toward heaven and know, know that your Heavenly Father looks to you with eyes that are deep pools of unending love.

There is nothing you've done I can't, or won't forgive. I'm not angry. I love you, more than anyone has ever loved you, and more than anyone can ever love you. Won't you come to Me, this Father's Day?

To the Fatherless Child on Father's Day

You are a favored child!

Really pretty. I tried to remember on Father's Day my "real" Father, since my earthly one never wanted anything to do with me. It brought comfort but it still would have been nice. . .

Thank you this is beautiful and so important for so many of those who don't have earthly parents or who do but their fathers are really crappy!

What a wonderful article. I guess if you don't know your Heavenly Father you can't comphrend the aspects of His love. A love that is unconditional. I am so thankful that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me no matter how short I fall. I know that no matter what I do I am accepted, forgiven and loved by Him. Great Article.

Jake, thanks for sharing alternative opinion. Your opinions are always welcome, and broaden my perspective --- which should always improve my writing. Glad you shared. Others, thanks for comments.

It's a feel-good article, but I don't find it particularly helpful or informative. Naturally, my opinion isn't anything more than exactly that; an opinion; I have never had much sympathy or regard for faith-based beliefs that remove responsibility from the individual, as I feel this article's content does. I believe that it -is- in my power to bear my own burdens, and that I've no more business asking a higher power to carry me than they would asking me to carry them. Just a contrast-thought for you there. Write on!
