Does Hydroxycut Work?

A Review of Hydroxycut

Hydroxycut is a brand of diet pills that claims to control appetite and help to burn fat faster than the body would burn fat without the pill. Hydroxycut costs between $20-25 per bottle and has about 60 pills. I chose the Hydroxycut pills with no
caffeine after reading many reviews from people who took Hydroxycut with caffeine and felt very bad from the side effects. The caffeine-free Hydroxcut pills did not give me any undesirable side effects or cloud my functioning in any way.

The caffeine-free Hydroxycut weight-loss formula contains a special Hydrogen Plus® formula along with a HydroxyTeaCF™ combination. It is really unclear from the package exactly what those two special formulas are supposed to do. For extra fat burning, Hydroxycut contains 333% of the RDA of Chromium.

My experience with Hydroxycut was not positive nor negative. It was nothing at all, really. Hydroxycut did not control my appetite as promised. The only difference I noticed was that my body was indeed burning calories faster and therefore demanded that I eat, eat, eat. If I could control my own appetite, I wouldn't be overweight, now would I? Diet pills that do not control appetite are pointless in my opinion.

Hydroxycut has a sweet coating that is suppose to make the pills more pleasant to swallow. For me, the sweet coating left an icky, vomit-like taste in the back of my mouth. I would rather taste the bitterness of a pill than this sweet coating.

Hydroxycut should be taken two pills at a time, three times per day. The pills should not be taken less than four hours apart and no more than six pills should be taken in 24 hours. One bottle is a twenty-day supply.

I am disappointed that Hydroxcut did not control my appetite. I know only one way of controlling my appetite and that is to plan healthy, low-calorie meals and snacks ahead of time so that I know what I am going to eat and when I am going to eat it. Exercise is also effective for weight loss. There is no magic pill or an easy way out of being overweight.

this is my first time taking this pill. My first day.. And i have a TON of energy.. It made me happy, energetic.. I WANTED to work out.. i cleaned the whole house, i'm doing my slim in 6 and i went running for like 20 min.. so. um. needless to say i have a lot of energy. I'm only 18 so i dont need THAT much help getting energy, but regardless, it still made me pumped.. I even turned my music really loud and danced to that for like an hour.. I dont think i have even sat down today :)..umm.. i definitely DONT feel hungry.. Usually when you think you ARENT supposed to be hungry you try to tell yourself that you aren't, so maybe if you dont THINK about food, and try not to think that you can't have it, it won't be too hard to suppress.. I use the mind over matter technique. Just try not to think about it, and i think it will MUCH easier to deny :). other than that, i think this product has done extremely well. I only have a few pounds to lose..So i'm looking to do anything extensive.. But

I have taken this pill for three months including the pm pills. I exercised at least 1 hour a day, 3 times a week for those 3 months. I didn't lose weight but did experience less appetie. Then a friend introduced me to the NO-CARB diet! In two week I lost 8 lbs. So out with the pills and I focus now on, WHAT I PUT IN MY MOUTH.

I totally agree with you. I've gone through a whole bottle because I've heard so many great reviews about it and I've been waiting for it to work wonders on me. It doesn't curb my appetite at all, to the contrary it makes me even more hungry, which makes it really hard to control my appetite to begin with. I had to be extra hard on my self to keep away from the fridge. I did burn calories faster, but when I'm eating more because they make me hungry, than what's the point? There's no weight loss.

Interesting review. I'm taking it right now and I haven't had any problems with it. Thanks for the information though!
