Two brands of laundry detergent that I will buy, anytime they are on sale, are Tide and All. Both of these brands have their good and bad points. Many people turn to Tide laundry detergent because it offers a HE version that can be added to front-load washing machines. They also love the fact that there is a Tide laundry detergent that is scented with Febreze. Tide also offers varieties that include Downy fabric softener, bleach, and even a version that can get your clothes clean in cold water. Tide has even taken things one step further to add a 2X formula that allows you to use a small capful of Tide to a large load of clothes. Tide definitely has the upper hand when it comes to different varieties of laundry detergent, but is more always better?

All laundry detergent is well known for its ability to easily remove stains. It was also the first laundry detergent to release a variety that was concentrated. All Mighty came long before Tide 2X. But, that's not all. All laundry detergent also offers varieties that are scent free, which are perfect for people with allergies. You can also find varieties of All laundry detergent that has Snuggle fabric softener added. While All laundry detergent doesn't have as many varieties, it's still a great brand.

I have to say that both brands do a fabulous job at cleaning clothes. But, I think Tide does a better job at making your clothes smell clean. When you remove your clothes from the dryer, you can still smell the wonderful Tide scent. To me this is an important factor, because the scent tells me the clothes are truly clean.
