Once you cut your hair however it is important that you make sure it is not further damaged otherwise it will not grow back properly. One thing that you may want to do is over processing your hair. This would mean that you want to find a hair style that would not require you to use a curling iron on a daily basis. You would also want to avoid putting too many chemicals in your hair. Try to use only natural creams and gels in your hair in order to style it. It is also important not to put too much of the gel or hair cream/ grease in your hair since this may end up clogging your pores. In order for your hair to grow properly you will need to make sure that you keep your pores healthy as well. Brushing your hair is also very important since it helps to get rid of any hair that has fallen out. You will want to make sure you get a brush that is appropriate for your hair type. Remember that different brushes are made for different hair types. If you use the wrong brush then you may actually be causing more damage to your hair.
You should also make sure that you brush your hair at least every two weeks. You should use a reconstructing conditioner after you wash your hair in order to make sure that it stays as healthy as possible. To keep your ends from breaking again you should make sure that you wear a scarf at night, and never sleep with your hair exposed. You may also want to avoid using curlers for a while since they also have been known to break and damage hair as well. These are just a few ideas and suggestions that you may find helpful when trying to get your damaged hair to grow again. With a lot of effort on your part you should have no problem getting your hair to grow back.
