Some people often forget the true meaning of the Fourth of July and focus only on the BBQ ribs, fireworks, and picnics. While all of this is sensational, especially spending time with your loved ones under the brilliantly filled magical skies, we mustn't forget why we celebrate our holidays. The same holds true for Christmas and Easter. While many people are running around the malls to find gifts to exchange, they don't take time to teach their children the values and stories that center around the holidays. This Fourth of July, it would be meaningful to take the time out and explain to your children what this holiday means and how it came to be.
