The Green Bay Packers are a professional football team that plays in the National Football League. The Packers play in the North Division of the National Football Conference.

The franchise was founded in 1919 as an independent football club. In 1921, the Green Bay Packers began playing in the National Football League. From 1933-1949, the Packers played in the Western Division of the NFL. The Packers also played in the National Conference from 1950-1952 and the Western Conference from 1953-1969, including the Central Division of the Western Conference from 1967-1969.

Following the AFL-NFL merger, the Green Bay Packers began playing in the NFC Central where the team played through the 2001 season. In 2002, the Packers began playing in the NFC North as part of the NFL's division realignment.

In the franchise history of the Green Bay Packers, they have won eighteen Division Championships. The Packers have won ten NFL West titles, one NFL Central title, four NFC Central titles, and three NFC North titles.

The Green Bay Packers have won eight Conference Championships in franchise history. They won the NFL Western Conference six times, winning it three years in a row on two occasions, 1960-1962 and 1965-1967. The Packers won the NFC Championship back-to-back in 1996 and 1997.

A total of twelve League Championships have been won by the Green Bay Packers, nine NFL Championships and three Super Bowls. The NFL Championships were won in 1929-1931, 1936, 1939, 1944, 1961, 1962, and 1965. The three Super Bowl victories came in Super Bowls I, II, and XXXI, following the 1996, 1967, and 1996 seasons.

In Green Bay, the Packers have played their home games at Hagmeister Park, Bellevue Park, City Stadium, and, starting in 1957, at their current home stadium, Lambeau Field, which was known as "New" City Stadium from 1957-1965.

From 1933-1994, the Packers would split their home games between Green Bay and Milwaukee. In Milwaukee, the Packers played games at Borchert Field, Wisconsin State Fair Park, Marquette Stadium, and Milwaukee County Stadium.
