Desperate Man Petitions to Join 'SNL'

First, he plans to petition, so hopefully he can audition. Your signature is all he wants. He thinks he is funny and wity. This 20 year old wants to be your next favorite charater on "Saturday Night Live," according to Polk Online.

Shane Hartline has created a website called www.snlorbust.com, so you can sign a petition to help him get on "SNL". With more than 100 signatures and he hopes to get 5000, so then he will send his petition to NBC executives.

He doesn't have a famous talent agent or some amazing head shot, so Hartline has decied to use the internet and he needs your help. He believes in 2 mins with the producers he will be the next big thing. Normally actors are found in popular comedy clubs, however if Hartline isn't going to leave the small town of Lake Wales, unless it is for an audition in New York.

He does have a little experance, he is apart of the Wooden Steel Productions comedy group, www.woodensteel.tv. It is a local sketch comedy group. He has taken classes at the Comedy Buffet in Winter Haven and regularly preforms at his church, First Presbyterian in Lake Wales. With this little experance he still feels he can make it big.

His pareants fully support their son, altough he works for the family business Hartline Security. His mother Candi believes her son has personality and drive to make it on "SNL." Hartline is a big fan of improv comedy, because he doesn't like to follow scripts. He has also consider a career in Professional wrestling, however that didn't work out. On stage he is an enterainer. Off stage he is described as a respectful, collected, and calm person.

He hopes people in the community will sign his petition and help make his dream come true.
